later sounds good to get a bigger showing but isnt there enough of us out here in So Cal that already have our cars, it would be kind of cool to see a group of them together while they are still pretty rare and catching all the attention of passers by, not that there will be a whole sh!t load of these things by Jan. its just people are becoming more and more familiar with them and now it seems like now they are more or less shocked to see it almost giving a "what's that?" type of look. But I am down for whatever just let me know. And doesnt everyone that is still waiting for theirs to show still own their previous stang? You havent traded them in yet have you? A good stang showing is a good thing I was thinking about inviting my friend to bring his Roush along for the drive up. If we are going to do it this weekend, Sat. morning is ok, but Sun. brunch would work perfect for me since I am in SD and I am planning on being in the Laguna/Newport area in the early afternoon anyway.

I won't have my car until early to mid February. It's possible I may attend even if I don't have a car, if you guys do meet Jan 15th. It’s just a time issue with me I’m always busy. But, if I have time I would love to attend, but without a 05 it’s less of a priority... if you catch my drift.

I would think the best idea is to post something like this in the SW regional forum.

It would take myself, Dan and Boomer 3-4 days to drive out there, and I am not paying for gas :P
Count me in cause you guys would drive by my place on the way to the states, but you are right....I'm not paying for the gas either.

Aww come on adrenalin. You got all this money to mod your car but all of a sudden you got none for a road trip. You come down here I'll pay for your lunch and or dinner if that makes you feel any better. That offers go for the next local meeting when I acutally have my car.

rrobello, I was thinking Rubys on the pier. We would have two whole parking lots to park the cars, and can take pictures of them from the pier. I think we could get some really great shots of the cars near the water... then we can drive them down PCH or Main, those would be some great shots too.

Unless you wanted to go to Dukes or Chimayos. Both of those are kind of on the pricey side though.

All my money went into the taxes I had to pay. That is one thing I don't like about Canada.....taxes on automobiles. What I paid in tax most of you guys can add 75-100hp to your cars....

Thanks for the offer regarding lunch and dinner, unfortunately I am stuck working until christmas darn it!

No Ruby's is fine, I just didn't know that they were opened that early. But I know where it is. Anyone coming up from SD? Maybe we can meet up for the drive.

Well hopefully there will be more gathers out here. Once I get my car, sometime in February I am more likely to attend these meetings. I’m not sure what part of Canada and how far away you are but my offer still stands for those later meetings .

hey altoid this is a side note but where did you get the pic of the GT500 emblem that appears with your name on the left. The reason I ask is because I am trying to find that emblem for sell somewhere that has the silver background, I can only find it with a yellow background, and was wondering if you perhaps got that off of a link of one for sell. Thanks in advance.

It's one of the ones Brad put up on the site for us to pick from.

The yellow one was the one they used in gone in 60 seconds. Look here, http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/6...leanor/60-5.jpg

Looks like its for sale here. http://www.mustang-unl.com/itemdy01.asp?T1...CatKey=EMUSTANG

As far as I know the avatar I'm using is the only place where the snake appears with a silver background and not a yellow one. Maybe Brad can provide some insight into how it appeared here or how he got it. Also, maybe he could let us know if it’s based off of something for sale or if someone just edited a picture to make it look this way.

Hey JR, how far are you from Costa Mesa? My wife and I will be visiting friends in March, and would love to say hi and see your pony.
