I took all your Pics & Blew them up for a Closer Look! Everything Looks Fine. Might want to Follow Every Spark Plug Wire and Make sure none are laying on a Hot spot like the Exhaust Manifold Egr Pipe Etc. Pic will only Show So Much. Were the New Wires Put on After you got the car?

I put the new wires on today and I followed the same route as the old wires which seemed to be in good shape no melting or anything

I saw a post somewhere on a different site but can't find it about someone relocating something that was heating up and causing the problem for them and it does only seem to buck now when car gets to running temperature

I just spoke with the shop that did the original work they said to drop it off and they will look at it again I feel like they won't get me far I'm at work but even though they hit me with the clutch I feel like they will make this a me problem and I don't feel like arguing with them I might see if they can pinpoint the issue and I'll just do it myself. I will keep updated posts as I'm sure your interested in seeing this mystery to the end

I got a call back from my Ford Tech this A.M. and as far as a Heat Relating Issue to your Bucking /Surging his answer was to check the Fuel Pressure Regulator Located on the Fuel Rail. Now he was also going to check further but as busy as he is at work no telling when he will get back to me.

We also have the 3 Hour time Difference Between us so I thought I would Pass this on. Here is a Link to the Part on Ford Parts Giant which Btw is a Great Parts Catalog for Ford OEM Parts Research. No Guarantee it's the issue but one I had not thought of.

I think that might have been an issue with the temperature sensor. It was giving wrong temperature information to the computer, which was throwing off the tune/program. They replaced the temperature sensor and the problem was fixed.

The 4.0L V6 Has Three Timing Chains on it. Two Shown Here. Another Setup on Right Rear Head. Due to the Intermittent Issue I doubt the Chains are at Fault BTMO. I hope it is the Cheapest Solution for your sake! See Lower Left For the SUPERCOMPLETE Version of a Timing Set. It's the Labor that would be Crazy on doing this.

Good Luck!

What do you mean The 05-09's were your specialty KC? For all us old timers on here who still own their 05-09's, your specialty and expertise will always be relevant

When I reread some of my old posts it amazes me how far down the rabbit hole I went on those cars! I appreciate the Vote of Confidence! The TMS People were so great to me with my Son's Cancer Battle it was a Family for sure Back then. I hope I can still be of Value here from Time to Time!

Thank You So Much!

Yes, I remember very well back then about your Son's cancer battle and most definitely agree our TMS community back then was a family.. For the most part, it still is, especially for those of us who've stuck around throughout the years...Meanwhile, there are still quite few of us left on here who remain 05-09 Mustang owners, myself included.. Therefore, there is no question in regards to you continuing to be of value here

One of the Great Things about These 05-09's Is Just How Many Options we Had to Make the Same Basic Car Look So Different! Check out this Great Old Post! Love These Cars!
