I can't think of any car that is more ugly than this model year of the E series.
Pontiac Aztek? But I guess it isn't a "car" . . more like a "thing".

Without a doubt, SLK 350.
Then I would sell it, buy a mustang, and use the rest of the money for gas for the next 10 years.

BMW has been beating the living daylights out of mercedes for years now. Better design, better handling, better reliability, more power, more class etc.
Too bad I-drive is killing them (BMW's) and in 2007 BMW will roll out a . . . Minivan!? :bang: I wish it weren't true! [/b][/quote]
the i-drive isn't so bad, most people who use it get used to it eventually. Merc already has a minivan esque model, but it's a euro only model, the van assuming it will be made, will never make it to the U.S.

I'd take the Mustang. Not because it's a better car, but because it's what I'm in the mood for - American, V-8, cheap, simple. The Mercedes might be better in nearly every category, but it still lacks any of those qualities.

I'm a wagon freak, too, so that C32 wagon looks great.

How much power does it have ? If the SLK has more power than the mustang, gets to 60 faster and the price doesnt matter. GO For the SLK. I love the mustang but nothing handles and performs better than a german built sports car :drive:

I like the SLK; my wife suggested I buy a Corvette- the problem is we're a family of THREE- me, wife and nine year old son. If I take out a two seater on a weekend drive, where do I put the third person?...trunk? strap to front bumper(antlers optional)? hood ornament?....for that reason, I need a "2+2"; I test drove a GTO- GOOD LORD, that car is so plain! So for me, I'll go with the MUSTANG!!!

No doubts here ... I'd go with the Mustang. It is home-grown, the parts can be purchased down the street, and I don't have to surrender it to shops that demand astronomical sums of money when it gets worked on.

You can modify a mustang up to any level you would want to be at as long as you have the cash and still equal the performance of more expensive cars and do it cheaper.

Out of all the cars on my Top 5 dream car list...
The 05 Mustang is the only one I could ever hope to afford(unless my plan for total world domination comes to fruition), so.....

Mustang!! B)

Mustang, hands down.

I know several people that would take the Mercedes. But don't worry, I'm trying to lose those friends.

Mustang - umtil Ford makes an AWD turbocharged 4 cylinder mustang, I will buy no other. My first major car purchase was a mustang, my first brand new car was a mustang, my next new car will be a mustang.

There are better cars on the road, but nothing speaks to me like a mustang. It has the rght combination of style and performance for me.

I still get goose bumps when I fill the gas and look at the 3/4 rear view of my 91 and my 02.
