The ClK looks like a rich chicks car to me. I'd still get the stang. There's only 2 other car's that I love as much or maybe a bit less than the 05.

I dont like the new Mercedes design imo, mainly the front of it...

The early 2000's & late 90's ones looked better to me.

Still looking foward to owning my first mustang

It depends on what you are looking for... Are you looking for a convertible or a coupe? Will it be a daily driver or weekend warrior? Are you etc. ..
In my case, I'm choosing a Mustang coupe 'cause:
  • I have two convertibles now...
  • It is an American Icon w/ heritage (Was extremely close to buying the 05 Vette, but would have to sacrafice to many things),
  • Powerful V8,
  • Customizable -if there is such a word... (Gave up on Harley/Buell after a few office tragedies)
Other than Jeeps, there is not much from DC that I like -as a fun vehicle... I would rather have a Boxster over the SLK.

I had zwo new Mercedes an i drove the new SLK at my dealer. (i live near the DaimlerChrysler company in germany), but i think so too.

The SL is an (expensive) icon. like the Porsche 911, the Corvette or the Mustang. But the SLK or CLK is a perfect way to make money with a large name (and a small car) and a good deal for rich posers.

Ride the original or take the train

I'm getting rid of my Mercedes to get a Mustang. Never was a big fan of Mustangs until the concept came out.

The quality of Mercedes has really dropped since the merger. You can see it in all the latest consumer surveys. I've had more little annoying problems with this current car than any other car I've owned. Very annoying.

Feels good to buy American.

Of course I'd take the mustang, my favorite car my entire life. The benz is ugly and expensive. . .really expensive!

I'm not a big fan of the "regular" SLK. However, I could be pursuaded with either of these AMG FIA F1 Safety Cars (Gotta have a V8!). . . perferably the Wagon!!

BMW has been beating the living daylights out of mercedes for years now. Better design, better handling, better reliability, more power, more class etc.
