So I'm moving in a couple of days and just called a local moving truck company.. and asked them if I can get a flat bed trailer for my 05 GT... they told me the GT will scrap going up the ramp... but the V6 won't...???

They said a customer tried to load a GT the other week, and they had a problem.
They tell me the V6 sits a little bit higher.

Anyne know if this is true..?

Well, considering that the front facia is a little lower on the GT compared to the V6, I would say it is definately a possibility.

Can't you try loading it in reverse? The rear bumper seems like it sits higher than the front.

It won't matter, going forward or reverse! It's due to the angle of ramp!
Must be others with lower ramps!
Happy Trails!!!

I would try loading it from a curb or something to reduce the angle of the ramp.

That's what they make lumber for.
Have to do the same thing when putting some of my cars up on ramps.
Stack a couple/few 2x10's before the bed. You hit them first getting the front end up.

Then the front will scrape on the ground instead of the back of the flatbed. They have to have some longer ramps or something. It's not that low of a car. If the Mustang scrapes, they wouldn't be able to load any kind of respectable sports car on that ramp.

Ya beat me to it. If it worked for my Saleen (which is waaay lower than an 05 GT), then it wil work for your car.

^Plus wood is a lot softer, and less damaging than metal or concrete if you were to touch at all.
