'05 GT Radiator Damage
#1
While looking under the front bumper of my GT, I noticed some pretty good hits the radiator has taken from stones during my 70+ mile daily commute. None of the cooling tubes are damaged, just the fins are smashed in about the size of a dime in a few places.
My concern is this:
The lower portion of the GT radiator is very close to the ground and is basically unprotected (it's a clear shot to the radiator through the lower section grill (and the upper, for that matter)). My biggest fear is taking a chunk of road debris or a rock so hard it cuts a coolant tube.
Q. Does anyone know of an after market screen that won't jack up the water temp? A racing-style rock guard, perhaps??
Thanks and be safe...

the fit is not too
Street Scenes has a few for the lower valance opening. Some members say the fit is not too good, but they do have selections of chrome, black chrome and plastic. I wasn't too thrilled myself on their appearance. There are plenty of billet ones out on the internet.
