I've always been wondering about some of the rather 'exotic' options that are/were on the order guide... or rather on the list of order codes we've seen some time ago.

1) Metric speedometer was an option. I guess this will wipe the mile numbers from the speedo and only leave metric figures there. Not too necessary as even the 'standard' speedo has small metric numbers on it, doesn't it. But what about the car computer. We've seen that you can switch the message center to use metric units. Will that change the display mode "miles per gallon" to "liters per 100 kilometers"? Or will it display "kilometers per liter"? Anyone wo sat in the car tried that when playing around with the message center?

2) High altitude option. What is that for. I thought the computer would automatically change the amount of intaken air. Anyway, how 'high' is a high altitude? Will a car with high alt option work normally at sea level?

3) There was something about an export option or so. What's that? Maybe kev can tell me

Thanks folks

Not one customer that I will meet will ever buy one of those options, so I wouldn't worry about it. I could see hi-alt in denver. Metric is obviously for Canadian units, as is the export.
