Wonder what the Mazda6's colors are? They are, after all, being built at AAI, yes? Hmm...

So I did a quick lookie on Mazda's site.

The 6 is available in 6 colors. (Imagine that. ) IIRC that is. I wanted to post more than I wanted to get that right. Anyway.

Guess what the first color available for the 6 5 door is? Yep. Blazing Copper.

Ahem. FORD!!! YOU HAVE THIS IN THE PLANT, MAKE IT AVAILABLE ON THE MUSTANG!!!!

So, question about AA1- do the Mazda uglies get ran down the same assembly line as the Mustangs? If so, are they building Mustangs 24/7 or do they have to take time to make those mazdas too?

 

I believe they run down the same line with exception to stamping

that means both cars would pass through the same paint booths, getting blazing copper would be as simple as not changing over a color.

April how many color choices have you gone through? :P

 

I started out with Windveil, saw it on the tortise and hated it
Moved to Legend Lime Decided it was fugly
Moved to Redfire. Saw one too many suburban assault vehicles with that shade.

And have been parked on Black for about 2 months.

That is, until I heard about the possibility of a spring edition with Ebony Jade. And as always, I absolutely covet any cool orange color that may come out.

I only know for a fact, I will never again own a white car.

The day she comes home is the day the decision is final.

 

I just want one in Acapulco Blue! They don't have to make any others just mine in Acapulco Blue. Hey ford please do this one thing for me and I'll never ask for anything else, except that it be on a Shelby.

 

I just wish they had a real titanium gray, not that..gray-esque-thing, they are trying to pass as gray this year.

 

We definite;y have the same taste, April. My '03 GT (as well as my last two Mustangs) is black, but I wish they hadn't gooten rid of Comp. Orange.
My next choice would be some form of dark green, such as Dark Highland or the '66 color, Ivy Green.

Tell me more about the Ebony Jade rumour and where can I see this color?

too bad we can't "accidently" change the paint hoses to the sprayers to paint it that color,,,,,

I dont think Copper works on the stock stang, with SVT aero packge it might. Dark stone(its metallic brown, like a VERY dark mineral grey) is the color they really missed out on. They should of used stone and DSG.

The Blazing Copper looks a LOT better than Legend Lime, but the Black Jade better be offered on the next Cobra. Finally, I have a color to look forward to.
