05 -09 A/C Bezel Removal

Hi everyone I'm kinda new to the forum thing so forgive me if I didn't do it right. But I have a 2007 Mustang GT Conv. & the A/C bezel has some deep scratches on it. I went and picked up a new one from my local dealer and I went to pull every thing apart and I'm kinda stuck on the airbag cover. I called the dealer and they told me that i didn't have to take the airbag out with the cover but it looks like I do. If someone could help me on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Here's a good write-up that I followed when swapping my entire dash and should help get you through the process.
