007 Mustang GT... Anybody install an oil cooler?
I am planning on tracking my car and I was wondering if anyone here has installed a oil cooler? There looks like a lot of room between the A/C condenser and radiator to install a cooler.
Anyone every try this kit? http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...eIndexID=53829
It doesn't seem that too many folks are concerned about their oil temp. A cooler can reduce heat as much as 30F-40F. If you run your card hard, and the oil is too hot, that is a receipe for throwing a rod.
Any recommendations would help.
Thanks!

Your link is bad for me... reguardless, I think if your going to be spending extended periods of time on the track with it, and oil cooler wouldn't be a bad idea. If it's just the occasional track day here and there, I think if your running good quality fresh oil (especially if it's synthetic), you should be fine.

Alloutt
Have you found any other kits? Ford Racing has a kit, but the cooler is smaller and the oil lines are secured with hose clamps at the inlet and outlet.
I would prefer braided stainless steel lines, but I haven't found a kit specifically for our cars.
