i have a 99 GT and i was wondering if anyone knows where the factory paint code is located at since they dont put it in the vin

also if anyone knows what it is for performance red?

i bought the car used and it has had alot of things done to it and i wanted to make wure it was performance red from the factory

 

There should be a sticker right above and to the side of the driver's side scuff plate.

 

worst case scenario, any autobody supply store will have the paint code if you know the color name.

 

i'm pretty sure tat years perf red was BS no not bull**** bs was the code lol i was just trying to find it posted on the car so i could know if it was truly perf red from the factory

 

hey the skid plate under the egine or are you talking about the chin spoiler thing? tell me where the skid plate is if you could....looks like theres is somthing posted on the skid plate right beneath my motor and back a little but i'm going to have to jack it up to get to that one becuase she's been dropped a little
