Whats your opinion on midpipes..

I just put on the Mac catback and don't know weather to get a h or x, catted or o/r, and what brand.
I do not want my car to sound like a truck...lol
Opinions??

H-pipes produce a better sound than the X. The X may free up a couple more horses but not worth it for sound quality. IMO.

Is there a specific brand that stands above the rest?

No man. The only thing to consider is stainless or not. Unless its a show car, I don't see the need for stainless. Mac makes a pretty good product and their mufflers sound great.

I was looking at the regular mac h pipe. for 180, seems fair.
