I have a 2000 GT Coupe. I was driving out of a yield lane that was on a SLIGHT hill. The incoming traffic had a red-light, so I pulled out slowly and took my time. When I took the SLIGHT bend in the lane, my car went completely sideways, aka 90 degrees. I was in 2nd and going roughly 20-25. I felt my rearend skip or hop dramatically when I was going sideways. As I was going sideways, I continued down the street forward. I straightened it out, but it was really scary and just out of the blue. This car has 1" Lowering Eibach springs front and back. I recently replaced the tires. The suspension, other than the springs, have NEVER been replaced, so in other words, it's stock. Diagnosis please.

Well, if it were my car, the first thing I would do is take it to a qualified motor vehicle inspection station, have it put up on a hoist, and go from there. Don't play with your life, or someone else's. There is definately something wrong with your car. Did someone forget to tighten some bolts? Were the springs installed properly by a reputable person or company? Are they the proper springs? Did something let go or break? Sounds like your car may be dog tracking, and I would definately have it checked out!

Defintely get it on a lift to have someone who knows what they are looking at take a look. You may have a control arm in not so good shape or something.

Funny Topic. I have one soloution, SELL IT!! I love that soloution, works for everything. You also could replace the whole rear suspension, like with another GT rear.
