Ok what inside the 03/04 cobra motor makes it so compatible with the procharger? Would it last a long time on 600+ hp?

The cobra motor would easily handle 600+HP. Mine makes 450 and that barely scratches the surface of its capabilities. Iron block, 6 bolt main, this stinker is built to last.

In addition to the above post, there are macnined aluminum internal rotors, reprofiled camshafts, forged steel crankshaft, aluminum flywheel, aluminum drive shaft with universal joints, and a higher capacity half shaft.

Yeah the motor is built and capable of handling 800+rwhp assuming you modify the fuel system to support that.

Lots of hungry for power Mustang fans didn't realize how many upgrades the s/c Cobra received. I could understand the apprehension for the '03s, but not the '04.

I had to sacrifice my beautiful black Mach 1 for it, but no regrets.

I'm SERIOUSLY thinking it over George. I know where there is a nice Sonic Blue 03 Coupe with low mileage.

Lucky for me almost all the '04 Coupes are gone from the local dealers, I still get very tempted to buy one.

Dan did, and he trashed it.

There's probably a few SVT looking for him.

Scott, George (I mean Bugs Bunny) is right, I've driven one.

Didn't trash it though, but definately put it through its paces. Plenty of power on tap. Very fun to drive. More power than I'd want most people to have.

Plus, Mr. Bunny bought one, and that says something.

The supercharger in the new cobras will be the Whipple charger which is just as junk as the eaton and procharger. I AM A Kenne Bell fan because prochrager makes only top end power and has low torque with bassani x haust and 258 lph fuel pumps with aftermarket injectors etc. The kenne bell has 648 rwhp and 686 rwtq with stock intercooler and stock everything. and the 03 cobra has manly rods, free flowing heads, blower cams, and i saw a stock block 8 second 03 cobra in a 5.0 mustang mag. The cobra drive shaft does not last long with slicks.

Do u lift when you shift?????

Not junk, just inexpensive for the application, KB autorotors are sweet super-chargers, but probably way to expensive for a factory app.
