We all love the Mustang, but........

There is a lot of Love for the Mustang on this board (obviously!). We all have real problems with the cars, some serious, and some minor. I thought that if we put them down in writing, others might know a quick fix.
My main two problems are :
1) when you crack the window when it is raining, the water drops straight off the roof onto the armrest / window controls (this REALLY annoys me!)
2) Crappy headlights.
Let's see if anyone else has problems!

I hate the creaking noise coming from the back of my vert. As for the seats, I like em but I'm sure that's because I had a Jeep Wrangler before this and it beat the crap out of my body. The water on the window controls does stink, hope it's water proof down in there, lol. Other than that I still love her!

My only problem is that I have broken window that some hineyhole broke. Oh yeah, and some scratches he/she/they made when they broke into the car.
Other than that, the Mustang is running strong.

I would like longer visors on the convertible that could turn up to block the sun. Right now I have to wear a ball cap on sunny days. :notnice:
The open trunk button should be a key on the inside of the glove box instead of a button. :notnice:
Rain coming in bothers me too. :notnice: I just open the rear windows since I have a vert.
I wish that the plastic do-hickies that hold the belts were not there, or easy to remove. The belts dont retract well, and when they do the latch goes through the do-hicky and will not pull forward. :notnice:
The seats are confortable enough. Leather
I would love a boot for the roof that covers the back seats as well. Or one that I know will not blow off at 100mph. Mine has not blown off at 100 mph, but I worry that it will someday.

Interior room. I don't know how anyone above 6' could be comfortable in this car.

Inconsistent overall quality. You can get one and never have the first problem, then get another and have all sorts. i guess it alll depends if it was built on Wednesday or Friday.

Don't like the stock 5 spd shifter position. feels like you have to reach... I now know why so many people swap them for after-market.
Other than that, I really like about everything on my 04, except the interior looks exactly the same as my 96 did (dated)
