Two Experimental Cobras (2000-2001)
Not sure if these are remembered, but ran across an older Motor Trend (July 2000) with two experimental Cobras.
1. Mustang Cobra Jet S/C (5.4 SOHC S/C)
2. Mustang Cobra Competition
I found the article online and thought I would share . . .

The blue one is probably crushed or gone.
Red one was given to Ford Racing and turned into a Cobra R look-alike for display. I don't know if they still have it.

Needs to be more Astony
I remember reading of those.
Seeing a 4.6 4v cranking out 380hp N/A back then makes me and know a 5.0 4v can definatly make 400hp in today technological trim.

I remember those! I would drool over that issue over and over. It was such an exciting time. Now, we have way more power than that, with better fuel economy and lower emissions. Crazy how far the small block Ford has come!
