95 cobra rpm

I just purchased a 95 mustang cobra svt. I was wondering what will be the best rpm to shift at to get the most performance out of my car? Everything is still stock on it for now.

I usually shift at 2,000 to 2,500 RPMs for street driving and 3K if I'm joining the highway. But mines a 4.6 but I don't think there's much of a difference .

What about if you are running it? I want to test to see how quick it is through the quarter without any work done and test it after each upgrade that I do

I've done 5,500 but if you're on the track I say 6? Probably right before the redline.

Thank you, I have been testing it at around 5,000 but I didn't want to over rev it and lose power.
