Hey all. I have a 2002 GT and am installing a new clutch and flywheel today. I planned on flushing the Transmission and am debating on changing the fluid to something other than the recommended standard ATF. I've heard there are potential issues in changing to a synthetic type... Anyone have have any feedback?

 

I've been using pennzoil synchromesh for years and have nothing bad to say.

 

Just use the cheapest Mercron you can find. I shift my T45 at 7800...thats what I use
