Thumbs up

OK, goin back to the track tonight with my 03 GT. I have a pair of Nitto 555R Drag radials on the back, and I wanna know what tire pressure will give me the best grip on a cold track. And also, what kind of burnout would be best...2nd gear? long or short?

Nittos usually work best at around 25psi or so. With the track being super cold, its gonna be hard to get em to hook well regardless, unless they put a good layer of VHT down. Drive completely around the water as to avoid getting into any. Do a 2nd gear burnout and I would go untill i started seeing some smoke from each side, not excessive, just enough to know they are warm.

The key is going to be in your launch. Be careful cause it wil be easy to blow the tires off the back and ruin your 60'
