how hard would it be or should i say about how much would it cost to have a t-top cut into my 2000 gt coupe? could anyone just give me a ballpark?

I dunno... it cost $500 to have a sunroof placed in my tbird.... I would guess 1000...

They sell kits to do this.

I personally wouldnt try doing this yourself..best bet might be to buy the kit AND pay a reputable bodyshop to do it. You'll need to stiffen up your frame also, as it states on the page. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

T tops in an SN95? i like the idea, but i have no idea where to start....

i like T tops better than sun roofs and targas. dunno why, but they look soooo good

u have to worry about body flex, theft, leaks, storage, and then dont screw up or u could have a pile of junk on your hands, good luck if u do go through with it, but it isnt th ebest idea unless u r dead set on it.

you know how many nice days i wish my 95 had t-tops......if anyone posts a attempt at it i might look into it (i love the targa system but its too clumsy to carry and doesnt store out of sight

I don't think it'd be worth the effort. Seriously just buy another car with T-tops, and keep them both.

Find a clean 87 GT or something........ I dunno, cause the tops would have to be manufactured, as would the resting area and seal mounting surface. Unless you know a wizard in body customization who works for free, I wouldn't suggest tryin it.

I really wouldn't recommend it either man. It just seems too risky. A sunroof maybe, but a targa I don't know
