Im wondering, if it's possible to use a 6r80 transmission in combination with tg 4,6l modular V8 in the SN95 Mustang.

Has anyone here installed that tranmission in an SN95 Mustang?

That Engine/Ttransmission combination had been used e.g., in the 2006 Exporler - so it looks (on paper) not impossible.

Potential show stoppers??

- Mounting issues (Bellhouse) etc.
- Driveshaft lenght etc.
- others???

[I am also interested whether its possible to use the 6r80 in the Thunderbirds of the mid 90s]

Hello fellow Ford fans...I am a New Kid to this form. I have a 03 Ford Mustang GT/Cobra Project car and I am interested in swapping a 2013/14 Shelby GT500 S/C engine, a Ford 6R80 Trans w/Paddle Shift and a 03 Cobra IRS. Meanwhile I came across a few companies that offer Parts or a complete kit that you can swap the Ford 6R80 Auto Trans into your 99-04 Mustang.
