I need your opinion guys. I put Eibach progressive springs on my 96 Cobra along with Steeda caster/camber plates. It looks great now. I don't have that all-terrain ride height and the handling is so much better but there's just one problem.
Whenever I hit even the smallest bump in the road it feels like I'm going to lose my teeth. It is a bone-jarring ride to say the least. Is this the trade-off or are there parts out there that will fix the problem before my car shakes itself apart? :bang:

First I would check your rear bumpstop right over the pumpkin. If you can't fit more than two fingers inbetween the bumpstop and axle, then I'd replace it. FYI, I only lowered my Cobra an inch and I rode on the bumpstops most of the time.
But, sounds like your shocks are worn out. (Probably so since its a 96 Cobra)
I'd contact MM ( http://www.maximummotorsports.com ) about their recommendations for a set of shocks. Or you could contact Eibach.
A matched set of shocks to go with your springs will help your ride.

I agree with nathan. Its more than likely your bump stop in the back that you are getting the major thud from. I had the same issue with my 96 and i ended up getting a shorter polyurethane one from MM.
I also agree with the new struts. not only will it help with handleing (drastically) it will be designed to keep the higher spring rates in check.

What they said. I have the same springs and it's nothing but great. I got new shocks for the rear and it corners so much better. The biggest thing, just like you said, no 4x4 height.

While your at it go ahead and get a bump steer kit. This will drastically improve your steering. I would go with tokico shocks and struts all the way around. Good quality and fairly reasonably priced.

Amen, have the Tokico 5 way adjustables in the rear. So nice. I only got them because they were a few bucks more then some regular (nice brand) shocks.

Dont worry with the bump steer kit from steeda. If you look, it has a spherical bearing that has no grease points. That is surely to burn up on a street driven daily car. Stick with the stock tie rod ends, get a set of ford racing aluminum offset rack bushings (to help correct steering geometry) and maybe look at the steeda x2 ball joints. All this combined with Tokico 5-way's, Koni Yellows, or Bilsteins would make for an excellent handling car.
