Straight pipes or keep the mufflers

I have an 04 GT with an off road x pipe and a Mac exhaust. I was looking into straight pipes. Do I lose Hp with straight pipes? Or what do you guys think if I want a louder set up. Here's a vid of what I have now.

That would be raspy, extremely raspy... but I'm curious how it will sound. Your car sounds awesome already... I have a 2k gt with a o/r h and a Mac catback and your video has me seriously considering an o/r x...

I had an off road h to begin with and what a difference the o/r x pipe made. But I want it to sound louder.

if you want it louder get rid of those mufflers, but they are pretty much straight through already. get some long tube headers

Keep the mufflers. It is ungodly loud without them, plus the loss in backpressure will make the car noticibly slower when accelerating. Get some headers, they will make it a little louder and give you some nice hp gains.
