Short shifters

I'm looking to buy a short shifter. I'm leaning more towards the steeda tri-ax short shifter. But my question is are they suitable for daily drivers or meant more for the drag strip?

I have a tri-ax and I absolutely love it. No issues at all from a DD standpoint either.

Triax here and love it. Had pro 5.0 in past and liked it too. Pro was a little more notchy and harder to get in. Mgw kind of rolls between gears and was a little weird at first but a very nice shifter. Triax is very easy shifting not too notchy or hard to get in and doesnt have a rolling effect so its easier to feel the gear. Triax is a slghty longer throw but that makes it easier to feel the gear

I have a tri-ax and I love it for the t-45 or the t-3650. The t-56 is a different story tho. You can't go wrong with the tri-ax,pro 5.0 or the mgw. All great pieces and I dd my mustang in the summer and honestly I don't know how I drove the car without it. The tri-ax turned my slushbox into a great experience. And you will NEVER miss the 2nd to 3rd shift again

I see other people are having the problem with missing 3rd from 2nd it sucks. Ive heard a lot about the tri ax and the mgw but not a lot about the pro 5.0

Dude I just got a mgw and love it! I'm kinda new to the mustang world and this was my first time installing a shifter and it was a piece of cake about a hour install time. It does seem like it has a slight roll from 2nd-3rd,but it doesn't bother me one bit.I ordered the cobra bobs gasket kit to go along with it. I don't have any experience with other shifters(except stock) but I love the mgw shifter, short throws and very precise and smooth.
