More progress.
Blower is mounted, and maybe a half of a day to go.
Some wiring done, vacuum lines re-routed, breather/PCV tubing finished.
Tomorrow is intake, Boost-A-Pump wiring, gauge hook-up, fluids, and start-up.

Well, after dawn to dusk from Thursday after work, until backing it into the garage an hour ago(after a good washing), it is finally over.
The kit went in with very few headaches! I must say, Kenne Bell rocks!
The instructions were complete, as was the entire kit.
All systems, Coolant system, vacuum system, chip, injectors, etc., and so on, are all first rate, and perform perfectly.
It was allot of work, but in the end...hehehe...it is well worth it!
I don't know if I would classify it as a "beast", but is definitely a wild animal!
When I first got into the boost, the car in front of me(2 football fields away), rushed up so fast it was almost startling!

I would recommend the Kenne Bell kits to anyone who asks! I love it, and really enjoyed installing it!

It ran great for 5 days, and a couple gremlins cropped up.
I have fixed one of them, and still have a coil or 2 that have gone bad...at least that is what it feels like.
I had allot of rock chips on the hood and front fenders, so it is at my fav. body shop getting a front clip paint job, complete buff, and rear bumper re-paint, as it too, had issues.
Then, they are going to slightly roll the rear fender lips, so I dont continue to cut the rear tires.
I am going up there tonight after work to pull the codes...then I will know where to go next.
with a super clean interior, it should be show quality when I get it back.

Just a note...IT WENT LIKE A "RAPED APE" in those 5 days!!! Looking forward to getting everything ironed out.

I must say, Mike at Kenne Bell has been super supportive through this!

How many miles did you have on the motor when you did the swap and how much money did you end up putting in the build?

Also, does that fit under the stock hood?

I have a touch over 90K on the car...about $6100, including buying some tools I was lacking, and fluids, and it fits under the stock hood.

The kit was $4999, and the "Big Tube Kit" which included a 90mm MAF, 75mm T/B, and the rest of the cold air stuff, was $812.

I am pretty sure a coil will solve my final problem...we shall see!

Nicely done! I was told a twin screw wouldn't fit under the stock hood. Glad to know otherwise!

Yep, all under the hood.
Getting it back tomorrow, and have to start the process of finding out why it isn't running exactly right. Starting with the code reader.

Thanks Austin!

Super simple...
Back to "Raped Ape" status.
It was a simple coil change out, and all is right with the world!

I cannot thank Kenne Bell, and in particular, Mike...don't know your last name...enough for waking this 4.6 up!

Advertised is 405hp/427lb/ft at the wheels, and it feels every bit of that!

The next step is to get some 100 octane, and tune it up some, by adding the 10psi pulley, and flipping the "switch chip", to add some timing, and lean it out a bit, for more HP!!!!(447+/-HP)
