Smile engine missfire

I have a 94 mustang cobra bought it new and had it for 20 years now. When I start it up cold it runs fine, but within a few minutes it wont accelerate and the engine light comes on, And if I continue to push the gas pedal down it will finally back fire and take off like a jet. And the engine will then go off. It might be my imagination but when I make a left turn it doesn't seem to do it as much

Has anyone had an experience like this or any ideas on what could be doing this

Go to O'Rielly's and borrow their code reader, and pull some codes.
Sounds like a bad coil, or 2.
I had a '98 that at a 1/4 tank of gas, would die in left hand corners...changed the FP, and all was right with the world.
More recently, like last week, I had a situation where the FPDM...Fuel Pump Driver Module... caused my car to die, at inopertune times. Now I am chasing a bad coil.

Anyway, start with a code reader, and get the error codes. Its easy to interpret them, online after you get it/them.

He can't go to oreilleys it's a 94. They can only read codes from obd 2 which started in 96. Check the basics if you know what you are doing. Check fuel pressure and check the plugs. Sounds like it is either dumping to much fuel and not enough air or vise versa. Also check your MAF and clean it if it looks dirty that could be the whole issue there. And check your cap and rotor in the distributor and check the points
