Ruff Ride?
Question resolved...............I ended up trying a pair of those Superior Auto donut shaped rubber spacers in the springs. Raised it up about 1.5 inches and took away the jolt from road bumps. $5.99 each and about 1 hour to install. Eventually, I plan on replacing the springs and struts at the same time.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, I just bought the car a few weeks ago so I don't know how old they are. The front tires (245/r45-17) just barely clear the top of the fender wells. What do you think about changing wheel & tire sizes to like.......225/r65-16?

I bet they left the stock struts and shocks on the car or stock equivalent. Anytime you change the height by lower with springs its gonna change the ride big time and all that feedback(road thump) is a lack of flexibility in the spring and tire. I know, I lowered an 06'GT,07'GT 96,98 and now a 2000 Mustang. Tokiko make the best shock and strut system I've ever used for regular street use because they are adjustable for a softer ride. They cost a few bucks but you could just run stock springs for half the money and get your ride back to that softer cush your tush misses.

I would replace the struts at least...if you don't mind stock ride height then get stock springs as well. I wouldn't change tire size, it'll throw your speedo off.

I would never sacrifice performance by changing tire size to a smaller narrow tire. You can roll the fenders or maybe get under the car and see what the guy before you did maybe cut springs or used cheap struts. And remember that with performance parts you get what you pay for don't ever go cheap on suspension
