Roush?

Have a 2001 GT Premium, if I want it to look like a roush stage 3 and perform like on too, what do I need to do? I found the body kit on americanmuscle.com for around $799 what else besides that and the side exhaust need to be done?

You can no longer buy the Roush supercharger kit, Roush no longer makes any of the 99-04 parts.

Most of the 99-04 performance parts are no longer produced by Roush ie. Supercharger and suspension components. The body kits, wheels, and some interior components are still available.

Let me know if you need help locating any specific pieces.

I just want it to be roush, but doing the work myself because that's what I enjoy doing!
Also, what do I need to do to the tranny, bottom end, or top end of the motor to make sure I don't blow up going down the road one day. (For some reason even though my trans is solid I don't know if I would trust the stock one to handle the power of a roush, procharger, or any other supercharger).

Roush did nothing to the motors or trans on the 01-04 stage3 cars, so your motor and trans should hold up. If you want more info head over to www.fnsweet.com .

Okay thanks! I really want to find a place that sells everything at one site. Not some from one, and some from others. I want to get it all at the same time and make it into a week long project.

We had an '04 Stage 3 convertible at the dealership I work at for awhile, they're a really cool car. But if you really want to make your GT a Roush clone there's a lot of little things you're going to want to look into. That thing seriously had a six page long parts list.

I know Roush doesn't make parts for the 04 and older any more, but if you shop around you can find comparable parts I'm sure. The main things you're going to want to look into of course are the body kit, which it looks like you've already found, and then supercharger, side exhaust, wheels, brakes, and suspension. All that taken care of and you'll have a car that looks, and goes like a Roush. From there you'll want to think about the interior.

Here's some pics of the '04 we had at work for inspiration

Thanks! I really appreciate it! I found the body kit and I'm using the brakes off of a cobra (still high performance 4 piston), found the side exhaust, reverse glow gauges, emblems and badges, everything except the wheels and supercharger... I can't find them ANYWHERE!

The wheels are gonna be tough. Theres ONE on ebay right now:

Unless you've really got a thick wallet for this project you might have to end up buying wheels that look close enough.

Lalayla has some wheels that are similar to those. Not sure what kind they are though.
