Rear view camera
I want to add a rear view camera to my 04GT and was wondering how to wire it up.. I see people grabbing power from the brake lights or reverse lamps.. Is there a difference? Are there any other ways to hook it up? TIA!

Personal opinion
I have my truck's camera wired to the tail lights.
I have an off switch for the camera at the screen.
Wiring it this way allows me to run the camera any time my parking/headlights are on.
I like to be able to have the camera on even when I am not in reverse (I have a manual tranny).
Really handy backing down long slopes very slowly. (And trailering with the truck)

Yes, if I wanted it on more often, I would look into running a key on hot wire for it and switch that if needed. Some have used the positive wire in the 7 pin plug but they are mostly hot with the key off.
