Anbody ever fab up a home made ram air for a sn95? I made one for my 88 back in highschool. I only had about $10 in its and it worked great, could feel a real difference, just wasn't all that pretty to look at...
I was wondering if anyone had made one for a 94-98 model and if so, what was it made from exactly?

Cervinis has a ram air kit for 96-98 and 94-95 mustangs, they have a hood and all for the set-up.

He's planning on making his own... Not spending hundreds of dollars for a new hood and all. I've seen it done a few times, if i can find a link I'll post it here.

oic ok, sorry, i misunderstood, i thought u wanted a ram air kit. Good luck, but cant u just get a cold air intake and then adjust it to a scoop or to the fog light holes.

I will probably end up doing something like that. ran some ducting up to the stock airbox with a airinlet scoop below the front bumper on my 88 gt. It made a noticable differnce at highway speeds. I was just wondering if someone had made something similar for this body style that looked a little better looking. Specifically, what to use for the scoop below the bumper. I have always thought one of those square exhuast tips from a Z28 would look good and be kind of ironic.

I did this once in high school...

I ran tubing into the passenger fender and made a box out of lexan (from home depot). The problem is you have to put it pretty low and also make an air shroud out of lexan. No puddles if you do this!

Lexan...good idea, never thought of that. I will look into this. Did the rubber tubing come from home depot as well?
