I want to change the factory leather seats in my 99 Mustang GT to racing seats like the ones in the pic. They come with universal sliders.

Does anyone know if the universal sliders fit the brackets of the factory seats? Basically, can I use the factory brackets for the new racing seats?

I think you will have to get new brackets. I'm not sure tho.

Those are great looking seats, what brand?

generally you will have to use a generic seat bracket. Sometimes you can rig seats up to use your factory power bracket. Hard to say without having both pieces directly in front of me.

I was looking at replacing my seats (or re-upholstery job) but I'm concerned about putting in new ones when I have power seats now. Has anyone else done it?
