Well guys, you may remember me asking about the Mach 1 awhile back. Well have about decided I can't take the wait for the 2005 and plus that shaker does it for me as well!!! But in 2 weeks I should be getting a Shadow Grey Mach! Kind of want the red but they just sold it. There are red at a few other dealers I could drive to, but that Shadow Grey does look nice. I currently have a black 6 cyl. So Grey will be nice. But 2 weeks!!!! Oh yeah!!!! Can't wait to drive that baby home!!! Have already been in contact with the dealer and am planning my trip down for the weekend. It's about a 5 or 6 hour drive away. So plenty of time to enjoy it on the ride back!

 

Lucky......we only have auto Mach's in my area. I'm still double checking around though.

BTW, Shadow Grey is my favorite color(aside from Azure Blue) it'll grow on you after a while. Plus it's more rare than a red Stang.

 

I know what you mean. I was shocked at how many Autos are out there. I have to have a 5 speed!!! My current 6 cyl is auto and that is one thing I don't like is that. But I checked several dealers online. All ranging from 3 to 6 hours away and feel the Shadow Grey does look nice........

Thanks! I just checked online with my insurance site also.......it would increase by just under 400.00 per month.......kind of a downer but not all that bad overall.

$400 over 6 months......ok....you were scaring me. So a little under 70 increased a month.

 

Yeah it was like 375.00 over the 6 months..my insurance only does 6 months options. Still having a hard time not getting the red...another dealer in that city has one. I love the blue too but can only find it with an auto..no 5 speed in blue...but that Shadow Grey is nice and different too..

Hey Mr-mstng or other Mach drivers....how good does the Mach sound just stock? Although I want one, and plan to get this one, I have not even been able to test drive one. My local dealer sold the one they had.......but I have wondered how it sounds........I'm sure it has the get up and go!

 

Mine sounds good!! Better than what I expected from a factory set-up.

It will sound better with Borla Stingers in my opinion. (JeffreyDJ) may have some sound clips with his Borla set-up later this week. (maybe?!)

You can also go to mustangexhaust.com and they may have a stock Mach 1 sound clip.

 

Yeah, maybe I'll get some sounds clips soon I rained off and on all fourth weekend. Got enough time to wash it, but no video yet. Maybe I can talk my wife into going up to the state park later to do it .. if it doesn't rain (starting to look nasty outside again).

But, stock they DO sound great. the Borla just made it a bit deeper, louder ... and has a better tone to it.

You'll like the grey especially when no one has the color. Everyone and their mom has a redfire, torch red, or black Stang.

 

I love the sound stock, but I'm waiting to hear the Borlas before I decide to get something else.

I'll take the laptop out and record a sound clip of it with the stock muffs.
