1994-2004 V-8 GT, GTS, Bullitt, Mach 1, and Cobra

put on idler/blower puleys this weekend

installed 3 idler pulleys and a 2.8 blower pulley on the snake this weekend. man it was a pain in the azz to get the blower pulley off, my last pulley was put on professionally. should be looking at about 525 RWHP now...i think i'm running lean with this much boost so i'm not going to get on it much untill christmas when i get my diablo predator tuner and can adjust the ratios.

wasnt a bad istall at all, took about 20 mins to get the idlers on but about an hour or so to get the dang blower pulley on.

i'm going to wait and see if this smaller pulley slips before i go ahead and get the auxillary idler pulley (dont like the way it looks).

but after i get the predator tuner i should be about done with my mods to her i think 525-540 RWHP is enough....

Better get a datalogger on it pushing that much power and make sure you are about to max the fuel pumps and or peg the MAF. They are forged motors, but running lean will still make em go boom.

yeah i am getting the predator tuner christmas and i'm even thinking about doing a dyno tune on it as for now i'm getting boost guages and a air/fuel ratio guage installed this week or this weekend just to moniter untill then

Put it on a dyno, dont trust a standard a/f guage. Those things are really just a pretty light show, unless they are hooked up to a wide band system. By the time they alert you that you are going lean, you may look back and see your pistons rolling down the road.

i threw the pred. on her friday she's running great, and such a noticable diff. i'm saving for a custom dyno tune later this year.

definitely take it to a dyno and let her rip. the MAF is probably killing you. stock is good upto about 500HP
