A put
Ok guys I need some help. I was driving home from work last night and my mustang barely had any power. I would shift and expect it to pony up but it seemed to just putter and a very dull get up. It ran fine on my way to work. When it revs it's very low and dull.

I'm thinking it could be a vacuum leak I would inspect all hoses and clamps under the hood and let me know what you find

I vote fuel filter. Vac lines rarely "fall off"...but it could happen. My son's 98 base v6, when the gas got down to about 1/4 tank, would die in left hand turns. Fuel pump. Replaced the pump, then it was sluggish. Replaced the filter, and solved the problem. This all happened virtually overnight, so I vote filter.

No, you go to work, then go to start it up, and the pump picks up a bunch of crap, and then you cant pass gas...so to speak.
But seriously, My son's went bad literally overnight, after we replaced the gas pump, and we completely removed the tank, and rinsed it out, and cleaned it out.
Bad vacuum line. I suppose one could have cracked or fallen off...worth a look.
Is is just sluggish across the board, or missing and bucking? Bad coils?
Has it pitched a code to read?

Thanks guys for all the input. No, it hasn't thrown any codes yet. It's jut extremely sluggish, I am going to check the fuel filter tomorrow and check it all out, hoses and all. I really hate to take it to a shop and spend the money when it's more than likely something I can fix myself. I did have my antilock brake light come on and also my airbag come on. So I do need to check those out as well. My first project car is giving me the run around.

I did just have the oil changed , serpentine belt and air filter replaced at a jiffy lube. I filled it up with gas right after and the next day is when is started all that.

Help would be great!! My dad is a mustang guy but lives in the next state over. It's 94 gt 5.0l manual. A new car would be nice, nursing can't end fast enough so I can get a new one.

I can be near IL in a pretty quick hurry, Glenn. Can I pick a new small truck instead? I could really use one of those. Lil' single cab short bed standard small engined thing with crank windows and no radio, but A/C, would be fantastic..
