Project Mullitt 1
#1
About two years ago, I was getting ready to purchase an 03 Mach 1. I live in the Northeast and had no luck finding a dealer that work with me on price. I finally decided to save a boat load of $$$ and buy a GT. I found this GT used with 11k miles on it and got it for a great price.
After buying the car, I still wanted the styling ques that the Mach 1 had. After two years of wheeling and dealing, I've built a one of Mullitt 1...

xxl2ockl3ottomxx, that's a keyless entry keypad. It's a Ford part that is programmed with your remotes and allows you access to the car by entering a code.
mustangfun101, A friend of mine worked at a Ford dealer parts counter and was able to get me parts at dealers cost. I was able to buy the complete Bullitt brake and suspension setup for around $1,000. That gave me four rotors and calipers, struts, shocks, springs and sway bars. The seats came from eBay. They cost me $1,000 shipped to my door. I sold my original seats for $650, so the net cost was $350.

Is that an option on mustangs now? I never seen that on a stang before. Cool. Once again, nice ride.

Nice car mate, but I think I would have stayed with the remoted key fob rather than the code panel.....

The keypad is an addition to the keyfobs. The factory keyless entry sees it as an additional keyfob. I've had a number of Tbirds that have the factory keypad and really missed it on the Mustang. Ford came out with this in the accessory catalog. It glues to the door and is programmed as an additional keyfob. Takes less than 5 minutes to enable and mount it.
There's no way I'd badge it as a Mach 1. I'm going after the look of a 69 R code Mustang GT.
Thanks everyone for your comments.
