98 cobra put in bassani xpipe no cats loosing power in high rpms. Only other mod is bbk cold air intake.just did plugs, wires,ect.

 

Thats wierd i thought u lose little on bottom end with the x pipe and suppose to be better on top end... hope my new upr x pipe dont do this to me. Lol

 

Fuel pump lines had holes in them. New bbk pump and new lines runs like new. Problem solved.

Did the engine light come on for that?

 

No car just lost power in high rpm. Fuel pressure fell off at high rpm because holes in the lines in my tank.also got a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to turn my fuel pressure up because of my intake and new xpipe by bassani.

 

Did yours do it constantly or after you've been driving awhile? My 98 gt is doin the same thing

 

i also have the same problem with my 98 cobra. upper rpm it starts missing badly. i pulled the tank and pump and found the top piece of the pump assembly was loose (the screws backed out) tightened screws and al better.
