Hi, I figured that if anyone knew the answer to my question it would be someone here. Is it possible to put the Mach 1 Hood/Shaker Scoop on a regualr 03/04 GT or V6? If so, how much do you think it would cost and would it void the warranty? Thanks.

It doesn't add a lot of power. Supposedly the air being forced into the scoop at higher speeds may provide a small amount of boost...but really you would only get maybe a couple horses if even that. You're more or less going for the look.

 

the faster you go the more air the shaker grabs so you have to be going 70+ to make some power

 

The CDC kit is nice but if you're looking to get one for a V6 you'll need to purchase a GT hood as well. The prices you see do not include the hood,just the kit to transform the hood into a shaker.

 

To answer the original question correctly:

Anything is possible, even with a V6 hood, with enough time, money, patience and ingenuity.

Failing that, a GT hood might come in handy... Have fun.
