Oil guage

Does anyone know how to check the oil gauge sensor on a 1995 cobra? Mines been acting all screwy

remove the wire from the sensor and then ground the wire the gauge should read full scale HIGH
If it does your gauge is good
the sensor is less than $20 it is easier to replace it than try to check it
