New sound system question
Personally I'm a pioneer guy. But it's your car. Look at what other people say about the one you're look at, then make your choice that way. I got my pioneer head unit for $150 but I got it at best buy with a gift card, I like being able to test it out on the demo board and seeing how it works.

Any recommended brand?
Alpine makes a really good unit as well as Kenwood. Those are probably my favorite of all that I've owned but I've had a few pretty nice jvc and pioneer units to. Almost anything modern will out do your factory head unit and is somethin easily done that don't break the bank
Have a Mach 460 sound system and I am getting a new pioneer head unit.
Attachment 99164
I also got a for link that attaches directly to the stock plugs.
Attachment 99165
I did all the wiring and tape the wires on the first plug, but the second plug has two blue wires that say "amp turn on" that I don't know what to do with.
Attachment 99166
With ought them my sound is distorted and my mid subs will not work (stock speakers) it will play music but it is flat. The problem I have is there is not a place to wire, or plug it in to the new system... Help!

you hooked yellow on the radio to yellow on the harness correct? and red on the radio to red on the harness? and your radio works fine right?

i may have a blown fuse. i have to jump the acc. wire to the constant 12v. the acc wire might not be getting power due to a blown fuse. im almost positive thats what it is.
no the acc wire in the back of the radio controls wipers, door locks ect.

everything is hooked up like it should be except the red and yellow wires, like i said im not getting power to the acc wire. (power to the wire should only happen when the ignition is turned on) since im not getting power to this wire i jumped it to 12v constant wire which is giving the acc wire constant 12v even when the car is off, hence wipers working when car is turned off, the only time this wire should have power is when the ignition is on. There is a blown fuse that gives power to the acc wire at the back of the radio (red wire). i got it all figured out lol. i figured it out after i posted lol.
