my rear sway bar just broke on my 94 cobra, and i was wondering should i just pay the $135 for the stock, or would an aftermarket one be more useful? i didn't think the $135 was too steep for the stock, but if i could find a better deal on an aftermarket, i would just assume getting that. could someone give me some ideas or comments on my decision making? thanks

You can replace it with a HD one from steeda, but i dont think it would make a large difference.

94-98 stangs are bad about poping the rear sway bar in half. You may could find one from a junkyard for alot less money.

well, the sway bar didn't crack or anything, but the very end of it on the passenger side is banging underneath, and it looks like where it connects, the very end snapped off, causing the hole for the bolt to not have an end.

You can drive without the sway bar period. i'd go ahead and remove it completely if you can.
