Good deal I see so many people park such nice vehicles right up next to everybody else. Just don't take up two spaces, that attracts people to be jerks.

You definitely want to park in gear. The idea is that first gear is very hard to get going (which is part of why it's the hardest gear to start when the engine is actually running). First gear needs a lot of torque to get it started. Alternatively, you can park in reveres as well. Either gear is low.

To add to that... I know this may sound really redundant but always use your parking brake. My in laws don't and I told them too but the just don't listen. Well their Passport rolled forward in the garage on them. Luckily the rubbermaid garbage can stopped it from causing any damage. *phew*
