Fro a good 9 months I've been wanting a 2005, but rescently, I've realized that there is no way that I could afford it on my current salery (or lack there of, yea my job stinks...). SO I decided to look into the purchase of a used car. After looking in the paper for awhile, I've found 3 possibles...

a 2001 Bullit 5 speed, 7900 miles (could be a typo), orig owner and in exc. condition for 16,500

2002 GT 5 speed leather int. Mach 460, 59k miles for 12,500

and

2002 GT 39k miles 5 speed, loaded + extras. 14,500

I'm mostly leaning towards the Bullit b/c I love it's hood and the 300hp sounds good to me... they are asking alittle much for it so hopefully if I decide on it I can talk them down.

the 59k miled GT seems descent, black paint job which is what I want, and leather seats, but just kinda high milage.

I'm interested in seeing what loaded + extra means when I call up the last guy.

I'd like some advice on this, b/c I'd like to sell my Truck in the next month-or 2 at most and want something that will last at least 2 maybe 3 years (until I can afford the 2007 STV )

The bullitts only have 265 hp... The only difference between them and a regular gt is the beautiful interior, a different intake, the lack of spoiler, 13" brakes, and some suspension changes. They are BEAUTIFUL cars and I would love to have one, so my vote is for the bullitt.

Original owner is priceless......but I doubt the 16K will sell it. I've seen guys drop their Bullits far below 15K just to get serious offers.

I doubt it had 7900 miles, but 79000 would make it a 20K a year car.

Well, the bullit guy sold it already, the one with 59k mile on it sucks.... and the 39k miled one has a burnt spot on the firewall.... so no to those 3...

I did see a 2000 GT convert with under 23k miles for 12k So i'm looking into this right now...
