need some info on the Eaton MP112 blower

anybody know what kind of boost the MP112 is capable of without overspinning? what pulley options? I'm working on plans for a custom build and trying to gather info, the 112 I will be using is going to be the type they use on the Lightning trucks due to the top inlet.

I think the most it can handle in safe daily driving is about 16PSI any more than that and it's a little risky

If you want pure power, go with turbos. You get much better numbers on them.

EDIT: Just make sure that the shop doing it knows to equalize the back and front pressure to get the best results.

Turbos are great but cost way more and suffer much more from turbo lag than a roots style supercharger. My friend's STI annoys me with it its a dog one second then you feel like a stone in a sling shot.....

It usually takes to about 3k RPMs for the turbo to kick on and then you better hold on. Also, if you stay with the s/c, Whipple would be a better choice. It can handle more psi than the eaton, but it costs an arm and a leg...

not only are whipples and kenne bells capable of more boost, they will make more power at lower boost numbers because they are a more efficient twin screw design.

yeah the whipple and KB are better but you can pick up used eatons in great condition for pennies on the dollar compared to them. and if you arent looking for big boost they will work great! if only my cobra was a 99 so it would match the heads!
