Need help. OBD code 1260.

My car is throwing code 1260 (and 1000) which means that the car has detected a theft and disabled the engine. Clearing the code did not work, should I disconnect the battery next? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Guys

(The car is an 03 GT, this happened after I swapped out my air filter for a K&N and reflashed the computer)

Pull your negative battery cable off and let it sit for 1 hour. That should clear the theft codes.

Didnt work

That didn't work, its possible the battery is gone. I dont hear the 'click click click' though, and the car sounds like it wantsto start, but it just wont. Tommorow I'll discon both sides of the battery, and if that doesnt work I'll try jumping it.

Thanks all
