My odometer motor is fried. The car only has 82k on the clock and it already fried. in addition, the black plastic gear that turns the odometer and tripometer has also sheared.

Anyone know if the vatozone, napa o'reilly's etc have these items? Or will I be scrounging in the junkyards come tuesday?

I think i read about this at modded mustangs.com . It seems to be a fairly common problem. Mine's broken also. i believe i read there are two parts, a worm gear and a regular gear. sell for 50.00 or something new in pkge . from the east coast/ mid atlantic.

Do a search for odometer repair there or on other forums
