Post Mounting HID ballast?

Hey guys, sitting here looking at some HID kits for my 2003 380R, I plan on getting 8k for the headlights and 3k yellow for the fog lights. So, that by my count is 4 ballast that I would have to mount? My question is, do you guys have any suggestions for mounting the ballast? Can you run two bulbs off one ballast or does each one need it's own individual ballast? Where to mount them? And does any one have any pictures of them in their cars?

Thanks in advance gents.

Each bulb has to have it's own ballast. I mounted mine on the radiator support.

I am glad you took the time out of your life to look like a jackass.

My question really refers to people who have mounted them, what spots in the bay have worked the best, etc etc.

If you want to be a clown go be one somewhere else.

So you're going with ricer blue lights? 5k or 6k would be brighter and look better.

People I've talked to have put them near the CAI and battery.

I ended up going with the 6k by the time I had replied to this thread.

Me being "new" has nothing to do with it. My "profanity" if you would consider that word profane is just part of me, I was in the Army for 8 years, I don't put up with people like Shaunrc being a little kid. I wouldn't tolerate people attempting to make another look foolish because of a legitimate question that was asked. See below.

No question is stupid and if you would have taken the time to comprehend my post I was asking for photo's and suggestions on where and how people have successfully mounted their ballast, either out of the way or securely enough to where the wires aren't going everywhere and you don't have to worry about your ballast hitting the freeway doing 70mph. It was a legitimate question not needing your silly little comments.

Can't we all just get along and get back to the question?

A good place I saw to mount them was removing the front bumper and putting it on the headlight rail on each side (if that makes sense?) they hide just underneath the headlights and are tucked away.

Let me try to find the posting..

DDM...straight from china. They work great, but took awhile to get. Cheap though.
Your name for that fellow wasnt profane, so much as it was vulgar, to not put to fine a point on it.

Mine went where there was room, by each light, and zip tied to secure, non-moving members of the inner structure. Depending on what has been done under the hood already, yours may be different from mine, so I wont bore you with pictures. Suffice it to say, they need to be secure, out of direct weather, and moisture, and where they can get some air circulation.

Hope it helps.
