Magnaflows Installed

Well, Since I'm not sure what happened to my last post, I'm gonna have to start a new thread. Anyway, I spent about 4 hours Saturday morning installing my Magnaflow cat-back. The installation was pretty simple, just time-consuming. I've had to readjust the tips a few times since, because every time I look at them, they don't seem the same. I also rotated the tires while I had the car in the air.

Anyway, the system sounds great. I had read so many posts from people saying that the Magnaflows were too quiet or not louder than stock, that I didn’t expect them to be as loud as they were. I was really impressed with the finish of the system, and how well it fit together. It's not very loud at idle, but the sound when accelerating is very nice. I'm very happy with the Magnaflows, so thanks to anyone who recommended them to me.

I like that they're not too loud until I want them to be (i.e. WOT). There are a few other systems I've heard that I love the sound of, like Borla, Bassani, and Mac, but I decided that they're just too loud for me. I have to drive 70 miles a day round trip to work, and the constant noise at 75 mph would drive me insane (not to mention make me go deaf). The Magnaflows have a nice deep sound, but dont get too loud.
Oh, and thanks for reviving my nearly dead post!

The problem with mustangexhaust.com is that i have to establish an account, and I'd rather post it here or another public posting site. youtube is a pretty good place. I actually tried to make an audio recording with a digital recorder, but it was too loud/close and it overmodulated the small microphone. oops.
