I purchased a Mach1 Grill Delete for my car. I put it on today (what a struggle with the wrong tools!), but I noticed the bottom black piece doesnt sit flush against my bumper. Does anyone have this problem too?

I didnt hold the bottom section down with anything (besides the 2 push-screws on the top left and right sides of it). It is a genuine OEM ford part.

I was wondering if some kind of glue or epoxy would hold it down... or if it was supposed to fit so poorly. Also, to hold the floating pony in, it used stainless steel screws instead of the torx one site recommended (my kit didnt come with ANY screws.) Will any problems arise from this?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

hey yea, i think everyone has the same problem. I used 3m double sided all weather tape to keep mine flush. when it is flush it looks really sweet, but over all id say ford could have made the part better.
