Mach 1 Spoiler or No Mach 1 Spoiler

Question for all of you (kind of late considering I have purchased one and am putting it on tonight):

I purchased a stock Mach 1 REAR spoiler (matte black) and I am pulling my stock Comp Orange spoiler and putting the Mach 1 in its place.

I am getting comments from some co-workers that it will look silly without the black on the hood. I think it will look okay.

Background: I already have black vinyl letters on the rear bumper, a Mach chin spoiler and grill delete, AND I have stock Mach 1 wheels also.

Some have suggested black rocker panel stripes might finish job...don't know for sure as I have never been a fan.

Any comments are welcome!!!

I will look silly at first, but if you plan on adding othe Mach 1 parts and pieces, in the end it will look good. Never care what it looks like short term, it's all about the long term!

I agree, I think it will look good. Comp Orange and black accents look unreal, in my opinion. You might want to think about getting a.) the shaker and b.) limo tinted windows (if legal in your area). That would really set everything off and really make the orange stand out.

It will look great I think. My neighbor has a Zinc Yellow V6 Vert and she had her spoiler painted a gloss black, looks really nice.

Even if you don't get a shaker, like some are suggesting, you may want to think about a vinyl or painted section in front of the scoop black to add some contrast. A hundred or two hundred on a simple vinyl is a cheap easy way to add some black to the hood without any major mods like a shaker.

If you have a hood scoop, you can have it painted black to match. Thats what I did.

If you want to do something with your hood, it may look good if you just paint the center of it flat black. I like it like it is though. It would look really good if you had some sort of stripe down the side though. IMO.

It may look goog if you had an old style hockey stripe on it. Kinda like what a Boss 302 had.
