Lately I have come to want a Mach 1. Since my stang is paid off and i anticipate my next purchase will be in a couple of years: S197.... I definitely want to buy a special edition model, preferably the Mach 1. I would like the functional hood scoop for my GT, maybe even the hood. (i think it would be nmore cost effective to just do the scoop without changing the hood. But i know that would cost a lot. DO you have any recommendation on how much that would cost, what is involved, or if it is even worth it. Also, how much would the MACH 1 seats cost. I heard they are comfortable, more than my GTs seats. Any other recommendations. thanks

You need to visit www.mach1registry.com and go to the for sale section. There are Machs that have been wrecked and now parting out. I would do it right with the hood and shaker off of a real Mach 1.

Yes, the Mach 1 seats do feel better than stock GT stuff in my opinion, more supportive.

If the money is there, just go get yourself a whole Mach 1 and fuggetabowditt! B)

Your most inexpensive route would be to try Mustang Salvage or other used parts dealers.

CDC has a shaker assembly that is brand new. I think that might be easier than trying to find a wrecked mach 1.

Yes the CDC kit will be easier, but if the money is there get the whole Mach 1. Then if you have lots of cash buy a 03 cobra crate motor and put that shaker on that and bolt that in the Mach 1. POWER and Classy Looks. The best of both worlds.

Yes, You can order it from Ford Racing Performance Parts.
The price is $12,500 But it is worth it.
The motor has a ton of goodies from the factory and can take 1000hp with a stock bottom end. The motor makes easy power too. You can make 400rwhp with just an airbox remval and a K&N. The motor is underrated it actually has 425hp. MM&FF dynod a stock 03 cobra with 382rwhp. They then removed the airbox and it dynod at 394rwhp.

Click Here- 03 Cobra Crate Motor

Scroll down on that page until you see the "03 Cobra Engine Assembly"
